I've completed the entry of the 1954-1955 season and all information is now available to view online. Click HERE to view the fixtures. You will then be able to see who played in each game and who scored the points. You can also see the stats for the whole season rolled up HEREAs you will see, Roy Jones was top scorer with 106 points and he also made the most appearances with 25. Trevor Carris was top try scorer with 12 tries in only 14 appearances.

Well done Sean. I knew that you were working on these statistics but I never cease to be amazed by the detail and excellent presentation.
Roy Jones was of course a legend in his own time and Trevor Carris is a contemporary school friend of mine.
Hopefully both of these players will feature in a mini CV project on members past and present as part of the Club History when we can eventually get round to it.
For the record Roy Jones whose kicking skills are legendary is one of the few members who played for Warwickshire whilst currently playing for the Eds.
Trevor Carris was an outstanding all round rugby player, athlete and cricketer. He would have played for England Schools but broke his arm at the wrong time and sadly missed out on this honour. However he did go on to captain Loughborough Colleges before the professional days when the team contained several current internationals and subsequently played at Richmond when they were a top flight club.
There is much more that can be said about these and other players of that era but I will leave that for another day.
Well done yet again Sean and all the best for future efforts that I know are in the pipeline.
